Who is responsible?
Moxbejellytornado Media Ltd is the controller for personal information it receives through editorial correspondence and operation of this website. Company no. 15930742. Registered office: 31 Oxford Street, Southampton, SO14 3DJ, United Kingdom.
Contact [email protected] with privacy questions or rights requests. Please identify your request as a privacy matter.
What the enquiry tool does
The contact tool builds a text message locally in your browser. The supplied script does not transmit form fields to us, save them in local storage or submit them to a third-party form provider. Text remains in the current page until it is changed, cleared or the page is left. Your browser may independently restore a page or retain autofill information according to its settings.
If you choose Copy enquiry, your browser receives a request to write the proof to your clipboard. If you choose Download enquiry, a text file is created on your device. Neither action sends the message. You decide whether to email it, where to store the file and when to remove clipboard content.
Information received when you email
If you send an email, we receive your address, message and any name, context or attachments you choose to include. Please avoid sensitive personal information, confidential project documents and information about other people unless you have a lawful reason to share it.
We use correspondence to respond, assess corrections, maintain an editorial record and handle legal or security issues. Our usual lawful basis is legitimate interests in operating an informative publication and answering enquiries. Where processing is necessary to meet a legal obligation, that obligation provides the basis. We do not add correspondents to a marketing list merely because they contact us.
Technical information
Delivering a website requires technical request information, such as an IP address and requested resource. Hosting and security systems may process request times, browser information and error details for delivery, abuse prevention and fault diagnosis. This site’s supplied code contains no advertising pixels, visitor analytics scripts or fingerprinting routines.
Our own page scripts do not create cookies or local-storage records. Any separate hosting-layer functionality must be assessed separately from the page code. See the Cookies notice for browser-storage information.
Recipients and international processing
Website hosting and email service providers may process information needed to supply those services. We do not sell personal information. Information may also be disclosed where legally required, to obtain professional advice, or to protect legal rights, subject to appropriate safeguards.
If a service involves a restricted international transfer, applicable data protection requirements must be met, including an adequacy basis or appropriate contractual safeguards where required. You can ask us for information about the arrangements relevant to your correspondence.
Retention and security
We keep correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed to answer it, maintain a relevant correction record, resolve a dispute or meet legal obligations. Retention depends on the nature of the message rather than a promise that all email disappears on the same date. Unnecessary personal detail should not be retained in a published correction.
Reasonable organisational and technical precautions are used to protect information. Email and internet transmission cannot be guaranteed completely secure; do not send material whose disclosure would create a serious risk.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law gives you rights to access, correct or erase personal information, restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests and receive certain information in a portable format. These rights have conditions and exceptions. If processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Email your request to the address above. We may need proportionate identity information before responding. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK data protection regulator, and need not contact us first.

External reference sites operate their own privacy practices. Following a link takes you outside this website. This notice may be updated when the site’s processing changes; the effective date identifies the version presented here.
