What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of information a website can ask a browser to store and return on later requests. Other technologies, such as local storage and session storage, can retain information on a device without using a cookie. The purpose and actual behaviour of each technology matter more than its label.
What the supplied page code uses
The HTML, stylesheet and page script for this website do not set cookies or write to local storage or session storage. They do not include analytics, advertising pixels, embedded social-media widgets or third-party fonts. Photographs are requested as local image files rather than loaded from a third-party image service.
Navigation state, scroll-reveal state and the prepared enquiry are held only in the current page’s memory. They are not intended as persistent records. Browser history, caching, autofill and page restoration are browser features and may operate according to your own settings.
A separately supplied hosting or consent layer may have its own storage behaviour. This notice describes the site’s page code; any additional functionality must be disclosed with its purpose and controls when introduced. Non-essential storage requiring consent must not operate before the necessary consent is obtained.
Copying and downloading an enquiry
The clipboard is accessed only after you choose Copy enquiry. The browser may require permission or a secure connection. Clipboard content can remain available to your device and other applications according to their permissions until it is replaced or cleared.
Download enquiry creates a plain-text file using a temporary in-memory file object. The script releases its temporary reference after starting the download. The saved file remains on your device until you remove it. Neither copying nor downloading sends your message to us.
| Feature | Purpose | Persistence |
|---|---|---|
| Page memory | Menu, reveals and enquiry proof | Current page; browser restoration may vary |
| Clipboard, on request | Copy your prepared enquiry | Controlled by your device |
| Downloaded text file, on request | Save your prepared enquiry | Until you remove the saved file |
| Cookies and web storage | Not used by the supplied page script | No page-script entries created |
Your browser controls
You can inspect and remove cookies or site data through your browser’s privacy settings, control clipboard permissions and disable JavaScript. Disabling JavaScript leaves the articles and native FAQ disclosures readable, but the enquiry-writing tool and mobile navigation toggle require it. Footer links remain available for navigation.
External source links lead to websites with separate storage practices. Opening an email link uses your chosen mail application and its settings.
